Hey all,
I found this topic particularly interesting since it happens so often and people don't really know what to do when they get this blue screen of death. Whether its from faulty hardware, viruses (most commonly) or just a regular old windows bug, I've got a solution.
I worked for a software company called Tugboat Enterprises. They specialize in data migration and recovery. I wouldn't recommend this if I didn't believe in it, or have to use it myself. Their product Selkie Rescue Data Recovery will bypass windows and allow you to retrieve all of your data when your computer crashes. Check it out at www.SelkieRescue.com. Trust me, this is your best option when you need your data fast.
