Airline passenger bill of rights

I've really got this passenger bill of rights thing stuck in my craw.  As someone who travels frequently (and often with my children), I find it unforgivable that an airline would leave people locked in a giant aluminum tube for 8 or 10 hours.  Honestly, in any other walk of life this kind of thing would be considered unlawful imprisonment! And that they can do so
