Cached mode in Desktop

received the following question from one of the users:

"Question for you, should I enable cache mode for even desktops?  I know that laptops is a good idea, but the desktops never move."

my answer is >>> It depends. If your desktops are within the same LAN of Exchange, cached mode is not required. But if your users are accessing your exchange server from a slow WAN links, cache mode still helps even though they use desktops
