Duplicate Global Object IDs may appear in Exchange 2003

Consider the following scenario. A client application uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 as a calendar resource. The client application uses Global Object IDs as the unique property to identify meeting requests. However, duplicate Global Object IDs may appear in Exchange 2003. The duplicate Global Object IDs may cause incorrect behavior when users use their calendars in the client application.

Note The Global Object ID is a MAPI property that Microsoft Office Outlook uses to match meeting updates and meeting responses to a particular meeting on the
