error 0x80072030 during installation of Exchange 2007

I have installed exchange 2007 in a new 64x box. DC, DNS, DHCP andExchange 2003 were in another box. Exchange 2003 was running finebefore installing Exch2007.
The installation of Exch2007 setup process went fine. It copy allmailboxes etc. However Im not able to demote 2003 because of this error:Setup failed while installing sub-component Domain-level permissionswith error code 0x80072030 (please consult the installation logs for adetailed description). You may cancel the installation or try thefailed step again.
please help..

Resolution 1: check for Exchange Domain Server and Exchange Enterprise Server Group (ADUC-- Users) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260914
Resolution 2:http://support.microsoft.com/?id=818470
Resolution 3: Run nltest /dsgetsite and check if this is the correct site name
Resolution 4: Rerun forestprep , followed by domainprep
