How do I restore a deleted email directory

My daughter has somehow managed to completely delete her email folder from my
inbox containing all of her emails over the past couple of months and I do
not have a backup. It was a sub directory under inbox and it is not in the
deleted folder or anywhere else on the brach listing in Microsoft Mail
(vista). Is this now a completely lost cause or is there anywhere else this
may have gone or an archive of sorts in vista that I could look for. We have
no idea how she managedto do this.
