I have vista home premium, newly bought laptop came with this OS.Live messenger worked fne for a day or two then suddenly started this error messaging: 80070005 telling me that the service is unavailable.... I searched the net and tried ...

I tried everything to fix this, even reinstalled WinXP instead, its all the 'Sign me in automatically', untick that, reboot and double click on Live messenger manually, and it works perfectly.

It's Norton Internet Security (IF YOU HAVE IT) you need to turn off the firewall from norton i hope this helps also your time make sure it's the right time ok?
