Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks error 913

I have installed my first exchange 2003 in my 5.5 organization (adc is
already running).
I can see the new e3k server in the 5.5 organization e viceversa but
on the e3k the service Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks won't start and I
get the following error in the event id:

Description : Routing information in the Directory Service is either
corrupt or incomplete. Process Id: 4592 Process location: "C:\Program
