Microsoft foray into electronics (As Fabless Company)

Microsoft claims it now has a role in the electronics industry as a fabless semiconductor company. Considering it outsourced the design and production of the Xbox 360, it's probably right. But the real play for Microsoft is probably closer to the development side, where its embedded software is gaining ground. That's something the folks at the European Union can't complain about. They can't see it.
