Microsoft Makes It Official, Completes Musiwave Buyout

Microsoft has officially closed its acquisition of Paris-based Musiwave, a $46 million acquisition. The deal, first tipped this week, also includes the assumption of $4 million in Musiwave debt. Musiwave, owned by Openwave Systems Inc., offers backend services to a host of European mobile media companies.
