Interesting news coming out of Hollywood today, from Paramount and Dreamworks. The movie studios announced their exclusive worldwide support of the HD DVD format for distributing movies on hi-def discs.

This means that movies made by Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Animation SKG, DreamWorks Pictures, Paramount Vantage, Nickelodeon Movies and MTV Films will adopt the format, for upcoming hi-def releases including Shrek the Third, Transformers, Blades of Glory, and more.
