SLI and Media Player 11, Halo 2 for Vista

Why is it when I set up my SLI video Cards in alternate Frame Rendering, the
media player goes crazy with a strobe like disply?
The only way I can get media player 11 in Vista 64bit to play is by setting
the SLI configuration to single GPU which degrades the F/R's. I tried it in
Split Screan rendering and it really got funky with strobing and all kinds of
odd stuff on the Screen like F/R's and Pixelation all over the place.
Also, when playing Halo2 for Vista, if I use Alternate or Split Frame
Rendering, the game freezes after about 10Min of Game P
