On a Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 agent-managed computer, the MOM service may use 100 percent of CPU operations. When this problem occurs, the MOM service may stop responding. Additionally, you may experience the following symptoms:
- The MOM agent no longer processes events, performance data, and alerts.
- The heartbeat for the MOM agent is delayed.
Resolution: A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. More Information & Download - KB 932767
