Unable to archive mails in my Outlook office 2003

I am trying to archive my mails in my Outlook Mailbox to my Archive folder. I am giving the option to archive all mails before the date 15 Mar (I have 100s of mail in the inbox itself which match the criteria). I click OK & Outlook says all folders are up to date. But still, I find that none of the files are archived.What is the cause of the above behavior? Where can I find the logs for seeing what happened?? I am using MS Office Outlook 2003Any suggestion to correct the err?

No mails are shown in those folders.
Is there any condition for archiving mails ?
I am using MS Outlook 2003.
Kindly suggest me a solution.
