User self service Active Directory updates?

Hi all, I am trying to find the right tool to let my users modify their own properties in the Exchange Global Address List.  We need some sort of self service directory management tool for basic properties like telephone number and address. 

I looked at a tool from Microsoft called GALMOD and it does the basic stuff, but not everything I need. I have looked at Directory Update (http://www.directory-update.com), WebDir (http://www.imanami.com), and EmpowerID (http://www.thedotnetfactory.com/).  WebDir is excellent but seems too expensive for what I want to do.  Direcdtory Update is flexible and cheap.  Are there other products on the market that do this?  Preferably something inexpensive, allows for validated lists, and is customizable.  I have to justify the expense to my boss.
