Windows update fails with error code 80240016

Hi I have an issue on a laptop running Windows Vista in that windows updates is reporting that it can't get updates. All I get is an error code of 80240016 when it tries and fails to install Office 2007 SP1 from the update ..... more »

After running the Vista Business OS install I and failing the notebook after installing KB943899 I was able to safe boot and uninstalled the KB943899 update. After which I set the KB943899 update to be hidden. All was working ..... more »

I get the same exact error code when i try to update Vista Ultimate Error Code 80040154. also getting an error code with Windows Defender Error Code 0x80244030 and Norton Anti Virus Error Code 1812 None of these 3 applications will ..... more »
