    I have this exact same problem, however if you go Control Panel then the Device manager, you'll see it has has a yellow exclamation mark, if you right click than then uninstall, replug your keyboard in it should be fine, but if you restart or shut down, it'll be back to not working again, so you would have to uninstall then replug each time.

    I have the problem too. It happend after Vista asked me to update the driver, i was stupid enough to say yes.
