hi im jay in camborne cornwall is see many have complained about this error and i was also suffering the same problem but i sussed it recently!!!this error is caused by the administrator account being disabled causing a access denied error meaning system wide changes cannot be performed as you will have insuficient rights to perform these changes even if your account is a administrator as its not the account used to perform the install of windows.you will be unable to perform updates from windows usually optional updates mainly hardware based updates.this is the cure are you ready?????
open the program lusrmgr (local users and groups manager double click users right click administrator then properties then enable then close then log off switch users to admin then update enjoy job done i is from cornwall i cant read or wroight but i cans driove a traker lol cya
My desktop had this error while running updates, microsoft said that error 80070005 is "Access denied", I tried running System Restore and got "Error 80070005: Your files are damaged or Missing, System restore can not continue"
